Today Microsoft printed a technote that province that both Operations Manager 2007 SP1 and R2 is supported on Windows Waiter 2008 R2 and Windows 7.

Remark that there is some cognized issues if you upgrade your waiters to Windows Waiter 2008 R2, these will be bushel in updates that will be available in the futurity. Making a clean install should work ok.

Besides note that System Middle Essentials is still not supported on Windows Waiter 2008 R2.
